6 week sessions: Registration includes sufficient clay and use of studio tools.

Pottery can get messy! Wear something you don't mind getting dirty: some clays and glazes can stains. We recommend trimming your fingernails for wheel classes. For the winter months, please bring a pair indoor shoes.

More than 7 days notice: Refund issued, minus 10% administrative fee
Less than 7 days notice: 50% refund issued
Class start date: No refund

6 week sessions: Please ensure you can commit to the entire 6-week session, as we are not able to accomodate class rescheduling once your session has begun.
One night workshops: We may be able to help you reschedule with at least 7 days notice, subject to availability.

Pottery involves the use of potentially hazardous materials and equipment. Beechwood Pottery Studio will not be held liable for any consequences resulting from non-compliance. Please review our Studio Rules below:
Studio Rules
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our staff.
Students will not load, unload or operate the pottery kilns.
Keep hair tied back.
Do not wear articles of clothing or jewellery that hang off the body.
Do not wear open-toed or open-heeled footwear (i.e., flip-flops, sandals or clogs) in the pottery studio.
Do not use any equipment without an instructor or employee present.
All completed work must be picked up from Beechwood Pottery Studio no later than 6 weeks after the student’s final class. Beechwood Pottery Studio is not responsible for any work left longer than 6 weeks. It is the student’s responsibility to pick up their work

All of our regular classes are 14+.
Our children’s classes are suitable for children ages 8 to 14.
Open Studio is 18+.

Our entrance is at the back of the building.
We are not wheelchair accessible: there is one flight of stairs to enter the facility, and three doors. If you require assistance, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
